A Pioneer in the Field of PTSD

In honor of PTSD Awareness month, our program director Dr. JoAnn Difede was recently featured in Health Matters. Dr. Difede's seminal work in the field of PTSD research has spanned decades and countless technological advances. As a pioneer of virtual reality exposure therapy, Dr. Difede has worked to ease the burden of PTSD for survivors of 9/11, active duty military, and veterans. Check it out!

Launch of the New York Presbyterian Military Family Wellness Center

We are proud to announce the launch of the New York Presbyterian Military Family Wellness Center. We offer free treatment for deployment-related conditions to qualified military service personnel and their families. Services are offered at Weill Cornell Medicine campuses on the Upper East Side, in White Plains (where free parking is available), and in Washington Heights at Columbia University Medical Center.

PTSD Phase II Clinical Trial

We are currently recruiting participants with PTSD for a Phase II Clinical Trial which will test a novel pharmacotherapy for PTSD. The study is free and eligible participants will be compensated for all completed assessments (up to a total of $400).
